Rebecca “Pepper” Mathis

Pepper is our creative director, with over a decade of stage combat experience and a knack for storytelling. She’s played Morgana in an Arthur retelling, the Questing Beast in a different Arthur retelling, a Jedi padawan with a lightsaber battle in front of a live orchestra, and Queen Calanthe in a Witcher tribute show. Her true passion, however, is music. She is the lead and musical director for our Bardic Inspiration singing group, and is our resident booth mom when we set up at renaissance faires.

Pepper the Phoenix is our spicy and sassy chaos enthusiast! Whether it’s enchanting audiences with her mellifluous voice via Bardic Inspiration, wrangling DiceKnights adventurers for their latest encounter, or throwing hands in the latest fight show, Pepper is down to clown (chaos always included at no extra charge, no refunds)!
